Works for me!, August 7, 2012 By This review is from: Comfort Seats C1B4E2-45 Deluxe Molded Wood Toilet Seat, Elongated, Regency Blue (Tools & Home Improvement) My 1960's/1970's toilet seat finally cracked and the old man kept complaining that his "balls" kept getting caught in the crack. So finally I decided to get a new one. I started looking on Amazon, but then decided that I wanted to go into the home improvement stores to see what they had. What I found was nothing but a sea of white, beige and tan toilet seats and I needed out-of-date light blue. Back to Amazon I went - back to where I started. I ordered the regency blue color thinking it was going to be little off in color. Sure enough, the color was off but not enough so to buy another brand or try another color (the old seat was about 40 years old). Installation was easy and the quality looks good, even though the lid has a chip on it. Of course, I did not see the chip until I had the whole thing installed. I bought one where the packaging was damaged, so the lid must of gotten damaged when the box got damaged. Still a nice looking seat.

The seat was beautiful and well made. Unfortunately, the shiny black finish was very scuffed by the corrugated packaging material. I returned it (very easy to do......kudos to Amazon) and ordered another. Hopefully this one will arrive in better condition.
Unfortunately, the next one was the same way. I would now give this product one star. This is not Amazons packaging issue....it is the manufacturers problem
